The annual Alola Bread Festival is developing, and Mallow’s brother Ulu has unexpectedly returned residence to enter! When Nina from the pancake restaurant stops by to want Ulu good luck, he vows to win for her sake. But all his candy Grepa Berries disappear, so our heroes leap in to assist save his entry. Mallow suggests making jelly from bitter Grepa Berries, sweetening it, and spreading it on Ulu’s bread. And it really works! Ulu’s bread wins first prize…however when he discovers Nina’s already engaged to another person, he immediately takes off once more on his cooking journey!
